Thanksgiving

In America, we celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. Thanksgiving is a holiday where we give thanks for what we have such as friends, family, food, and somewhere to live. Typical foods are turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, which is sauce for the mashed potatoes, stuffing, which is cubed bread and celery and seasonings, and cranberry sauce. My favorite foods are turkey mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. We get the whole week off from school to celebrate the things we are thankful for and hang out with friends but on the day of Thanksgiving, it is a day for family.

Many families have many traditions. My family goes to my aunts house and stay there all day. Before we eat, we give thanks for what we have. Another tradtion we have is watch football. Every Thanksgiving there is always football on.

I love spend all this time with family and friends and I have so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is not my favorite holiday but it is a good one!

     En mi tiempo libre me interesan los deportes. Me interesa pasar el rato con mis amigas porque nosotros nos divertimos juntos. Nosotros nos gusta andar el parque y montar nuestras bicicletas. Cuando yo triste me interesa mirar la televisión. No me interesa leer porque no leer bien.
